The process employs a plasma thermal destruction system that operates in a closed loop producing almost no air emissions as a by-product of the process. Plasma is a
highly energized gas that will generally exceed 30,000 degrees Fahrenheit during operation. There is no combustion involved in the process. The high temperatures and
pressure consume virtually 100% of organic material and approximately 95% of inorganic material, which is broken down to its elemental components. It is this high
temperature and energy that enables the company to offer the key benefit to customers of "absolute destruction". Any remaining inorganic particulate matter is generally
encapsulated into the glass melt. The process has two primary by-products: hydrogen rich "syngas" that will be sold or used as fuel or to produce energy and a glass
melt that can be sold for sand blasting grit, road aggregate, or disposed of in a landfill because it meets the EPA TCLP standards. The hydrogen can be used as a fuel
and for carbonless power production. The DOE has done several studies and found this technology to be effective and efficient in reducing waste materials and yielding
a positive yield of energy and/or fuel.


There are several related technologies utilizing some form of Plasma for incineration, pyrolysis, gasification, smelting or multi stepped processes attempting to achieve a
similar goal. Few have substantial documentation of their results and even less have maintained public disclosure status. None have the depth and breadth of
